Q: Do you supply materials only or labour only?
A: Yes, our services are varied to suit the needs of our clients, If someone has bought a bathroom suite, taps and tiles and only want us to fit, then we will quote accordingly. If someone wants to buy a kitchen, bathroom suite, carpet, laminate, tiles etc and would like to fit it themselves? Then we will give a price for materials only.
Q: Do you ever use sub-contractors?
A: We do. It is very hard to forecast fluctuations in orders so we have a database of accredited sub-contractors who we employ which gives us the ability to service all requirements. The sub-contractors are fully accredited and are covered both by our management process and insurance.
Q: Would it not be less costly if we employed the sub-contractor direct?
A: No. It all comes down to the volume of work we give our accredited sub-contractors and our ability to negotiate fixed costs because of those volumes. For example, a client in Sheffield had a water leak and proceeded to call a local plumber who quoted a call out fee of £55.00 and an hourly rate of £40.00. The client then called Absolute (Peterborough), and we then organized an engineer and charged an hourly rate of £30.00* with no call out fee
Q: Do you charge £30.00* per hour for everything?
A: No. We only charge £30.00* for emergency work, things like a boiler failure, an electrical emergency etc. We do not charge £30.00 per hour on quoted works or services such as decorating, gardening, floor laying, plastering etc. £30.00* per hour is a maximum charge.
Q: Do you charge for surveying or quoting for work?
A: No, there is no charge for this service.
Q: Why are you able to offer no call out charge and a maximum of £30.00* per hour?
A: This is because of two reasons,
1. Absolute is looking for a long term relationship with its clients, we would like our clients to employ our services Every time anything is required, the Absolute policy is to make a reasonable return over a long period.
2. The procedures employed by Absolute means we are able to work efficiently to reduce risk.
Q: Why do you want us to register our details with Absolute?
A: This registration process allows us to allocate every service (plumber, electrician, heating engineer etc) to your property which allows us to be able to react effectively and efficiently whenever required.
Q: What are the benefits to us of registering?
A: It will give you the ability to call upon any service (one number) at any time, with no call out charge and at a maximum charge of £30.00* per hour.
Q: Does this registration cost us anything?
A: No
Q: Will our details be passed to any other companies?
A: NO
Q: Will we be sent promotional stuff or spam emails.
A: We use your details for two things,
1. To allocate services to your properties.
2. We will (unless asked not too) send our quarterly magazine informing you of what we are up to including changes to existing services and new services being provided by the Absolute Group.
Q: Are your people CRB checked?
A: Yes, we complete Criminal Record Checks on all our team.

A: It’s Absolutely true Our entire service is set up to ensure you get absolutely the best value and that includes not charging for call outs. It makes it better value for you and makes sure you always choose Absolute Property Services Group for any work in your home.
Q: Do you offer home maintenance contracts and will it save me money?
A: Absolutely! Yes, we do offer home maintenance contracts and the reason we do it is precisely because they do save you money. Here’s why;

When you invest in a home maintenance contract any emergency work that is needed in your home is covered under that contract and we can visit your home and put a schedule in place for routine maintenance work such as servicing your boiler and heating system, inspecting your , or replacing components .

Q: What if I don’t use you during the year?
A: If you haven’t needed any emergency work or routine maintenance to keep your home weather proof and safe, we will give you back ??% of your investment to be used on any of our services to improve your home. So you may choose to decorate your hallway or tile your kitchen, perhaps design a new layout for the garden or build a deck?
Q: Can I pay for my Home Maintenance Contract Monthly
A: Yes of course. A simple monthly investment will take care of things for you. It works just like a mobile ‘phone, after your first 12 months it just continues.
